The O-series arranged a cultural evening of singer Roquaiya Hasina Neely on October 1, 2010 at the central auditorium of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). It was her fourth solo performance organized by O-series. The program took place under the supervision of eminent writer and actor Khairul Alam Sabuj. Rahimafrooz was the event sponsor while local FM radio station 'Radio Aamar' was the media partner. Roquaiya Hasina Neely is the daughter of Late Professor Rashidul Hasan, a martyr of the War of Liberation of Bangladesh is 1971 is a known for singer mostly singing Tagore songs and old-day's modern Bangla songs. Neely was was born in Birbhum of West Bengal in India. She has traveled USA, Canada, Singapore and India to participate in cultural functions. She also had solo performance in Canada, which were organized by various local Bengali communities in the country. Neely performed Tagore's songs as the solo performer in New York City at a program organized to celebrate 75th anniversary of winning Nobel Prize of Rabindranath Tagore. She got several awards for her talent including Citycell-Channel i Music Award in 2008.
