Pyongyang develops new Veterinary medicine

New efficacious veterinary medicines have been manufactured in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

One of them is vermicide for animals made by the Central Zoo with bithionol mixed with copper.

It is potent for Trematoda, tapeworms and eelworms.

The manufacturing method of the medicine reaching 95-100 percent in extermination rate was highly appreciated at the 11th National Exhibition of Inventions and New Technologies held some time ago.

The Epizootic Prevention Center of the Pyongyang Poultry Guidance Bureau has developed a bursa fabricius disease vaccine.

The epizootic disease suffered by chickens, 3-6 weeks old in general, is very high in death rate.

The vaccine has proved high in immunogenicity.
