Tele Talk befooling customers

State-owned mobile phone company, Tele Talk in Bangladesh is already alleged for its poor network and extremely bad customer care service is now also alleged of befooling customers with its Tele Tune option.

Hundreds of customers of Tele Talk have complained about deducting money for adding a requested Tele Tune, but instead of adding the purchased song, Tele Talk is continuing to play un-selected songs. It is assumed that, corrupt people working inside this SOE [state-owned enterprise] is diverting the amount received from the customers for a particular song to another un-selected song with the goal of illegally misappropriating the fund. The customer care service of Tele Talk failed to give any satisfactory reply to such serious irregularity.

A number of music companies also brought allegation of this particular irregularity of Tele Talk with Tele Tune option.

Meanwhile, some of the top policymakers are actively either reshuffling the entire management of Tele Talk or ultimately off-load the entire share of this company to private entrepreneurs.

It may be mentioned here that, while other private mobile phone companies are cashing billions every year, Tele Talk is hardly making any profit. There is also allegation against Tele Talk in involving in illegal VOIP business. A section of corrupt staffs of this SOE are engaged in such activities.
