The on-going West Bengal's assembly election of its last phase of 14-seats in the 'Jangalmahal' , a Maoist affected areas of the state will be held on 10 May and the counting will start from 8 am on 13 May , the result may expect to be cleared within noon as who smiles whether Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee or Mamata Banerjee. This year's assembly election is held in six phases started on 18 April and sofar all five phases elections in 280 – seats were held peacefully except a few negligible incidents like disorder of Electronic Voting Machine [EVM]. There were no reports of booth capturing, false voting since the government deployed huge Para – military forces to control law and order situation in all election poling centres. The Trinamul Congress of Mamata Banerjee is over confident to capture the power to run the West Bengal government from ruling Left Front with two-third majority, even second category lieutenants of her party feels to secure 230 – 240 out of 294 – seats assembly. No doubt, she has been able to raise a wave which is popularly known 'Paribartan' (change) and the ruling Left Front designated this election of their "Pratyabartan" (return) into power to form the government for consecutive eighth terms . In fact, from 1977 till 2006 in last held seven elections the ruling Left Front did not have faced any opposition and all these elections they had swiped overwhelming majority. The real opposition had encircled in last parliament election held in 2009, in Indian Parliament election for West Bengal's 42 – seats, the Trinamul Congress alone won in 19 seats and her alliance partner – Indian National Congress secured 6 – seats. Mamata Banerjee appeared very closer to capture 'Writers' (place of West Bengal government secretariat) and she had started vigorous campaign for next assembly election keeping on bird's eye towards Writers after assuming central minister for Indian Railway in the 2nd UPA government of Dr. Monmohan Singh. She had utilized all most all Saturdays & Sundays from 2009 either by laying foundation stones of several railways projects or opening of new train services or computerised booking counters in across the state. It was widely known to everybody that if her Party can win in the 2011 assembly election she will become chief minister but she did not contest in the election rather kept her for free campaigning for her candidates, she had been attending in couple of meetings everyday by helicopters chartered by her party, the Left Front has alleged her for spending black money in the election. She needs to get elected as a member of the Legislative assembly to be chief minister. Mamata Banerjee, after announcement of the date of assembly election in all her meetings she had flooded bag of promises to set up industries, hospitals, educational institutions etc. If at least a portion of her promises were materialised, every sub-division would have one modern multi – speciality hospital besides industry, in remote West Midnapore's Narayangarh in a meeting she had promised to set up there a big hospital, will have all the facilities ' open heart operation, liver and kidney transplant, every arrangements will be available there, she said. In all these meetings she had repeatedly stated that the land won't be acquired forcibly from the land owners , if in any site one land owner disagrees to sell his or her land what would then be happened it was not been spelt out by her. She has also repeated her earlier promise to accord jobs to a million youth within two years on assumption in government. The Trinamul Congress lacks single stalwart to check or censure her for all such rubbish and unrealistic promises. It is no secret that the Trinamul Congress is Mamata and Mamata is the party. There is none in her party to dare cross her, all remains in the party with their heads bowed down , she is only biggest assets of the party and may become be a biggest liability of the party, same will be determined in course of time in future.
