With Patriotic Enthusiasm

Today the working people of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea are making an upswing in production in order to open up the gate to a great, prosperous and powerful nation without fail in 2012. Among them are the workers of the Chollima Steel Complex. Most exemplary of them are the workers and technicians of Steel Workshop No. 1 who give a primary attention to the effort for technical renovation of the facilities, thus putting the production in a normally high level.

When an innovative idea was suggested to remodel some auxiliary facility in this workshop, they all knew it was a good idea but that there would be many difficulties in introducing it into practice. First of all, they had to reset technical specifications of the electric furnace and auxiliary device. By pooling their resources and wisdom, they fixed the most reasonable technical indices through dozens of experiments. Thus a new facility was made in a short span of time and introduced into the electric furnace, thus contributing to lengthening the life of the electric furnace and further increasing the production.

The workers of the Main Raw Materials Workshop made a contribution to increasing the production of molten steel by improving the capacity of scrap iron charging bucket to put in much more raw materials. Meanwhile, the Seamless Steel Pipe Shop No.1 successfully cut the time of the heating furnace overhaul. The workers are making a mass innovation in production by improving their technical attainment and skill level and waging the movement of mutual help between shifts and processes.

All the officers and workers of the complex are devoting their all to the effort to make the country more prosperous by producing more steel than ever before.
