Love for Future :: Weekly Blitz

Laughing and singing voices of children echo through the clear and blue sky of Korea.

The children are called the kings of the country in the DPRK. The words reflect the true feature of socialist Korea under politics of the leader Kim Jong Il who shows benevolent affection for the rising generation, pursuing the lofty will of President Kim Il Sung.

For Kim Jong Il children are laughs, flowers, love and joy. He finds the greatest joy in a bright smile of children, free of any cares and worries, and devotes his all to their good.

One day in October Juche 57 (1968), he visited a nursery of a workteam in the Ryonghung Cooperative Farm in Anju City. Looking round the nursery without taking lunch, he told officials that they must bring up children with a sense of responsibility for raising well the valuable flower buds to be grown up into the reserves of the revolution and when children are brought up well from nursery time, a good future will be shaped.

One night in September Juche 69 (1980) when the Ice Rink and other monumental structures were under construction in the capital city of Pyongyang, he visited the construction site of a kindergarten first. He acquainted himself with knotty problems arising in building it and solved them. Later he gave a name to it and sent many up-to-date educational facilities and playthings, musical instruments and zoological specimens.

Kim Jong Il is eager to give all the good things in the world to the children. When triplets and quadruplets are born, he is heartily glad and gives them clothes, underwear, beddings, foodstuffs and ornamental silver swords or gold rings.

When he visited a soya milk factory, he took a State step to supply children with soya milk on a regular basis. He saw to it that the first yield of fruits were preferentially sent to the nurseries and kindergartens.

Early in January Juche 95 (2006), he saw kindergarteners' handwritings by brushes and pictures and gave very important teachings on how to bring up children.

Once he sent new playthings to the dear children and one year interesting picture books to them.

In February this year the children in the islets in the West Sea of Korea also received presents associated with his warm affection. They were transported by helicopter.

Thanks to his deep affection, the children in the DPRK are growing up vigorously into the fine masters of the future.

Everywhere you can see nurseries and kindergartens in sunny places at first sight and hear merry singing and laughing voices from there.

Singing of the children who are growing up into the happy children, dear children and kings of the country in the embrace of the great leader is delight and pride of the whole country.
