Russian President Condoles death of school children in Bangladesh

Russian Federation President Dmitry Medvedev in a message to President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh expressed condolence at the death of minor school children in a road accident in Chittagong, eastern city in the country. At least 42 students died in the accident, when a vehicle lost control and hit another vehicle carrying the students.

The Russian President also expressed his sympathy and condolence to the deceased families of the children.

The letter was handed over to Bangladeshi President Zillur Rahman at Banga Bhaban on July 12, 2011.

Pavel Bronnicov, press attaché of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Dhaka confirmed the matter.
