American Center Small Grants Opportunity

The American Center of the U.S. Embassy, Dhaka is pleased to announce a grant competition to support public service and the arts in Bangladesh. There are multiple awards available for projects costing USD 10,000 or less.

Proposals will be accepted from a wide range of topics and fields, including volunteerism, environment, women's empowerment, education, community development, youth engagement, and arts. Proposals will be particularly strong if they incorporate American content or values into the planned activities. Applicants should represent NGOs, community based organizations, or institutions that are registered or will agree to becoming registered prior to accepting any grant award.

Interested applicants are requested to contact GomesJJ@state.gov for approved application form. All submissions should strictly follow the template provided for both the proposal and budget. All proposals should be sent to the U.S Embassy, via e-mail or postal service, no later than 4:00 p.m., July 24, 2011. Address: U.S. Embassy, Madani Avenue, Baridhara, Dhaka-1212.
