Anti women 'Fake-Peer Baba' escapes!

Prelude:

Peer Sahibs, some devotees to show them higher respect call them Maola, Murshid, Shah Sahib and so on. A lot of them are there in the sub-continent; in our country too. All of these people claim to bring an end to your worries. The worry be of any kind, marital problems, business problems, not getting a job, cannot go abroad despite your best efforts, not having children even after 10 years of marriage? Could not marry someone you love? Those BABAS or Shah Sahibs etc have answers to every problem. All you have to do is go to the BABAS, name it, and they have the solution.

No Problem! May be this is a sort of business venture, an entrepreneurship, something like the share market. We remember what happened to many people in 1996 as Dhaka share market crashed. Many people who sold out everything they had to buy the 'magic paper' [share certificates] being allured of earning 100 for 10 or even more ultimately became paupers practically. Ones who were behind this scheme made fortune!

But the question is how about the beginners? How to go about this business and how they should flourish in their new venture?

Saints or tricksters?

There are lots of established 'business houses' who do not have to spend any more money to attract customers/clients. I can name one 'house' known as ATRASHI. ATRASHI, a place in greater Faridpur district of Bangladesh. The Bara-Baba [initiator] of this house passed away a few years back leaving his eldest son Mustafa Amir Faisal as the Chief Executive. The house of ATRASHIS became extremely popular and powerful during the reign of President HM Ershad. Because, HM used to be a disciple of the Bara-Baba. It was believed by the critics that, the BARA BABA of Atrashi was the Rasputin of Ershad's dynasty. It may be mentioned that although HM Ershad was the president of the republic, but, his control over the country was more like a king of the early days. As HM Ershad used to visit that place [Atrashi] frequently, many took the chance of meeting him [Ershad] while he was with the BABA. If they failed, there were close aides of the Baba who got things done for the 'devotees' for NAZRANA [divine code for money]. In February 2008, the CEO of Atrashi sent Paigham [divine message] to the disciples to come to their 'ASTANA' [head quarters] with certain amount of money [something about US$45] as in April of the same year he was to declare himself as the IMAM MAHDI and eventually the whole world will come under the control of the BABAS of ATRASHI. As April passed, some understood what the PAIGHAM was about [?] Then again, before the last election [December 29, 2008] the CEO sent message to his disciples to vote for him in the symbol ROSE. This time he was more democratic. He perhaps got divine message that this is the age of democracy and for him to suddenly become IMAM MAHDI would be against the wind. His followers replied to his 'Holy Call'! At the end of the election it was revealed that his security money was forfeited.

Cowing the innocents:

In Islam [so far we know] it is HARAM [forbidden] to offer SAAJDA [bow down/prostrate] to any one other than Allah. But, it is very interesting that, in many so-called DARBAR SHAREEF [holy headquarters] the BABAS encourage their 'disciples' to offer SAAJDA including the BABAS of SHURESHWAR and ATRASHI. If someone [a new visitor] is shocked to see those scenes, even their 'enlightened' disciples will give FATWA [a normal practice by religious fanatics in bringing examples of concocted divine reference] that what we do is not HARAM but when HINDUS offer SAAJDA to their deities is HARAM! They justify their deeds with an explanation that it is NEEYAT [intention] not the deed what is HARAM and so on! Usually, FATWAS are Islamic religious ruling, a scholarly opinion on a matter of Islamic law. A fatwa is issued by a recognized religious authority in Islam. But since there is no hierarchical priesthood or anything of the sort in Islam, a fatwa is not necessarily binding on the faithful. The people who pronounce these rulings are supposed to be knowledgeable, and base their rulings on wisdom. They need to supply the evidence from authentic Islamic scriptures like the Holy Qur'an and the Hadith for their opinions, and it is not uncommon for scholars to come to different conclusions regarding the same issue.

As Muslims, we authenticate the opinion on basis of the reputation of the person giving it, the evidence given to support it, and then decide whether to follow it or not. When there are conflicting opinions issued by different scholars, we compare the evidence and then choose the opinion to which our LORD Allah has given us conscience to guides us. Any people with conscience after visiting many so-called PAAK DARBAR SHAREEF [holy headquarters] will know what those disciples do is nothing but SHIRK [associating anybody with Allah], while those fraud traders of religion continue to cash millions by befooling the innocent people or by capitalizing their frustration or over ambition.

The flop BABA:

Recently, Largest English Daily, The Daily Star reported an interesting information that a NAYA BABA [new baba] who put graffiti forbidding women to use the Bara Masjid Road in Mathbaria of Pirojpur district in Bangladesh. On receiving complaint, the graffiti is erased in presence of police. Police are looking for the so-called PIR-BABA who had enforced the ban. In the graffiti it was written, WOMEN ARE ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN ON THIS ROAD. Police is trying to arrest the BABA, Maulana Mohammadd Abdus Sattar. Police is being posted on that road for smooth and uninterrupted movement of the school girls.

BECHARA! [poor guy!] what I believe this BABA had adopted a new policy to attract people but his venture failed in the very inception. There is a proverb in Bengali that 'CHORI BIDDA BORO BIDDA JODI NA POREY DHORA' which somewhat means, the art of burglary is a great art if isn't caught! But this BABA's future business house crashed before it could take any shape!

The rich and famous BABAS:

Like Hollywood stars or infamous drug Lords, most of the 'traders of religion' enjoy very luxurious life. Just get one example on the 'holy children' of ATRASHI BABA. Every morning, these rich and famous BABAS show their faces to the disciples in a huge hall room, while the BABA is seated in a kind of Divan while the followers' right after seeing the face of their BABA will have to offer SAAJDA on the feet of their Guru. Interesting thing is, it is an Islamic gesture to say Assalamu'alaikum to one another. One will never see that the BABAS ever say Assalamu'alaikum to the devotees. Possibly, they consider giving SALAAM to those creeps is against their dignity! To experience these scenes one do not have to travel from Dhaka to Atrashi which is more than 100 kilometers from the capital. All they have to do is go to the CEO's 'capital headquarters' at Banani, Dhaka and see their activities. Don't be surprised to see an eighty year old 'devotee' giving foot massage to the PRINCE BABA [Faisal's son] who is hardly 21 years old!
