TV reality show bombshell and armature porn star, Kim Kardashian is marrying her National Basketball Association boyfriend Kris Humphries in a lavish, made-for-TV celebration of love, devotion and product placement, at a canyon estate in the tony seaside town of Montecito, near Santa Barbara, California in few hours. Kim was earlier married to music producer Damon Thomas [2000-2004], while this is first marriage for Kris Humphries.

Much has been made of the Kardashian-Humphries wedding invitations, which were decorated with black crystals and arrived in silver boxes. Guests were asked to wear black and white and to keep ceremony details confidential. Even more has been made of the couple's wedding registry at Geary's of Beverly Hills, which totals $172,000 and includes such items as a $1,650 coffee pot and two $1,250 sterling silver vegetable spoons. Kardashian also constantly updates her 5 million monthly website visitors and more than 9 million Twitter followers about her progress with her pre-wedding workouts [with celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson], her dress fittings [with designer Vera Wang], and her invitation designer [Lehr & Black].

Kardashian has made a fortune selling her most intimate moments, from the sex tape that surfaced in 2007 to this weekend's wedding. She turned into a famous 'brand' in United States and the world, selling secrets of her personal life.

Kimberly Noel "Kim" Kardashian is an American socialite, television personality, model, and actress. She is the daughter of late attorney Robert Kardashian, and is known for a sex tape with her former boyfriend Ray J as well as her E! reality series that she shares with her family, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Kardashian first rose to fame in October 2007 when she along with her two sisters, mother, brother, half-sisters, and stepfather starred in the E! television series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. In 2000, Kardashian married music producer Damon Thomas; their relationship ended in divorce in 2004. Subsequently she dated R&B singer Ray J, NFL stars Reggie Bush and Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin. She was also seen with model Gabriel Aubry. Kardashian then began dating NBA player Kris Humphries of the New Jersey Nets.

On May 18, 2011, Humphries and Kardashian became engaged. On June 2, 2011, Kardashian stated in an interview with Allison Kugel that she is planning on using Kardashian as her middle name and taking Humphries as her last.
