Singer Momtaz bids murdering her lover

Momtaz Begum aka Momtaz, who is a popular folk singer and ruling party lawmaker in Bangladesh, has reportedly hired secret killer team to murder her third husband Dr. Moin Hassan Chanchal, when she sensed of losing membership in the parliament because of her proved sexual scandal, perversion and illegally continuing with two married husbands at a same time. According to Bangladeshi law, it is punishable crime for any woman to maintain two husbands at the same time. Senior leaders of Bangladesh Awami League have hinted that the issue of Momtaz will be brought into the attention of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina after her return from United States. They opine that, parliament membership a perverted and nasty individuals like Momtaz should be immediately revoked and she should not be anymore allowed to use her status being a member of parliament in continuing numerous forms of immoral activities. It is also alleged by the ruling party leaders that, during BNP-Islamist coalition government, Momtaz was maintaining "intimate" contact with some of the "big fishes" of infamous 'Hawa Bhaban' [political office of BNP] and was attending almost all of the cultural programs organized by the then ruling party.

Meanwhile on September 19, 2011 Momtaz called her husband Romzan Ali, who is mayor of Manikganj City Corporation and informed him that, Dr. Moin Hassan Chancal is continuing to blackmail her and she denied the news of marrying him. It may be mentioned here that, Momtaz began dating with Dr. Chanchal, a resident physician at Momtaz Eye Hospital, when her husband Romzan Ali was arrested by the military backed interim government in 2007. While her husband was in prison, Momtaz went to a number of foreign tours with Dr. Chanchal. The matter has also been endorsed by Dr. Moin Hassan Chanchal in an interview with local media. Dr. Chanchal told reporters that he and Momtaz married in 2010, while Momtaz has not yet divorced her husband Romzan Ali. Dr. Chanchal said, the marriage took place secretly and the marriage registrar did not ask Momtaz anything about divorcing Romzan Ali before marrying Dr. Chanchal, as by that time Momtaz was already a member of parliament. "She used her influence being an MP to overcome the obstacles in marrying for the third time, while keeping her second marriage very much in force", Dr. Chanchal said.

Commenting on Momtaz, her second husband Romzan Ali said, "I brought her to present status just from the street. But, she has not yet changed her habit of being someone on the street."

He said, "Momtaz is a damn liar and a perverted woman, who has been unlawfully dating with Dr. Chanchal and subsequently married him, violating the laws of the land."

Romzan Ali asked, "How the ruling party will now afford to carry the burden of a rotten individual like Momtaz, when her personal scandals and immoral activities are made public? Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who also is the chief of Bangladesh Awami League will definitely take proper measures on Momtaz issue by ousting her from the party and revoke her parliament membership, not only to salvage the image of the party, but also to uphold the dignity of the parliament."

He said, "It is impossible to let a nasty woman be allowed to continue as the Member of Parliament".

It may be mentioned here that, singer Momtaz was selected into the reserve seats for the women in the parliament by the ruling party, when Bangladesh Awami League came to power during general election of December 28, 2008.

While being exposed in public of her secret marriage, personal scandal and immoral relationship with Dr. Moin Hassan Chanchal, ruling party MP Momtaz has reported assigned a killer gang in murdering Dr. Chanchal. On September 21, 2011, a group of armed men went to the Momtaz Eye Hospital and were looking for Dr. Chanchal. They ransacked his chamber in the hospital. Eye witnesses said, a group of 8-9 youths entered the hospital compound at around 5 pm and were looking for Dr. Moin Hassan Chanchal. Since the attack, Dr. Moin has gone into hiding.

Sources close to singer Momtaz said the latest episode of ransacking the chamber of Dr. Chanchal is a planted game of the singer, who now wants to create a legal way to punish her second husband as well find ways to make an end to the marriage-related complications. They said Dr. Moin is living at the residence of Momtaz in Dhaka, where she fabulously furnished a special room at the top floor of the building for her lover Dr. Chanchal. The room is furnished with all modern amenities, the place where the Momtaz-Moin duo has been dating for years.

Leading Bangla daily newspaper Manabzamin first leaked the news about Mamtaz's marrying Dr. Moin Hassan Chanchal.
