In a number of leading newspapers in Bangladesh, another multilevel marketing [MLM] company has published huge sized advertisement, claiming itself to be "world-famous" brand. On initial investigation as well as searching its website, it was identified that this MLM Company has no contact address, except a post box number in Orlando, United States. Though the company claims to be having "60 years" of international reputation, in its own website, it has provided information, where it was clearly proved that Tupperware Brands has no past history beyond 2005, while it claims to have generated revenue of US$ 2.3 billion in 2010. The term of business, which is published on the website of this company is also suspicious enough! It is well anticipated by the experts that, when Bangladesh government is currently formulating required laws to regulate the MLM companies and the direct sales businesses as well as when fraud MLM company like Unipay2U has already cheated thousands of people in Bangladesh, Tupperware Brands is a newer addition to such fraudulent activities, which definitely has entered into the market in this country, with the target of robbing-off locals with various high-profit traps, though it has not obtained any permission from the government or the authorities concerned. Now here are some of the examples of fraud by the Tupperware Brands. In Australia, this company offered 65 inch Samsung brand 3DTV for US$ 1,600 only, while the price of genuine Samsung 65 inch TV is much higher. It is confirmed by Samsung Electronic Company that such TV sets are not genuine but fake Samsung brands made in any country such as China, Malaysia, and India etc. The real price of Samsung 65 inch TV in Australia is above US$ 9,000 each. Tupperware Brands are getting various types of items manufactured illegally in third countries with fake branding at a very cheaper price, while selling the same through its network at an alluring price, while the buyer never know that in reality this company is cheating them by supplying counterfeit brands. Those fake 65 inch Samsung TVs manufactured in third countries are of lowest quality and in most cases, such equipment starts giving numerous technical troubles within months of purchase. Tupperware Brands publicized the selling of such fake Samsung TV sets in famous newspapers in Australia, such as Sydney Morning Herald, which is one of the tactics of this fraudulent company in pretending to be a genuine entity. This particular case is already known in the world as Tupperware Brand's TV Scam. Most importantly, if someone will try to find information on Tupperware Brand on the web, they will be greatly misled by hundreds of positive stories and articles put online possibly by the Tupperware Brand itself. But, careful searching of the web will definitely reveal the ultimate face of this fraudulent company. It is believed that, Tupperware Brands has landed in Bangladesh through its network in India. This company will mostly target the innocent women in the country with their self-styled trap of high profit lure. In Bangladesh, this company will be selling various items, including cosmetics and perfumes of top international brand most of which, of course are just fakes! In recent years, activities of the MLM Companies are very alarmingly increasing in Bangladesh, although by now thousands of people are already cheated by such fraudulent companies such as GGN, Unipay2U etc. The government needs to immediately enforce necessary laws to regulate such activities to regulate such fraudulent activities, in order the save the citizen of the country from being robbed off or cheated by these MLM fraudsters.
