Kim Jong Il Encyclopedia published by IIJI

The International Institute of the Juche Idea has brought out Kim Jong Il Encyclopedia.

A ceremony of releasing the book took place on November 2 in New Delhi.

It was attended by personages from the IIJI, the Asian Regional Institute of the Juche Idea, the Communist Party of India (Marxist), the Communist Party of India, the Youth Group for the Study of Works of President Kim Il Sung, the Society for the Study of Works of Kim Jong Il, the Intellectuals' Society for the Study of the Juche Idea, the All India Indo-DPRK Friendship Association and Juche idea followers.

The DPRK ambassador and embassy staff were among the attendants.

Speeches were made in the ceremony.

IIJI Director General Vishwanath talked about Kim Jong Il Encyclopedia and the importance of the ceremony.

He said:

"Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, is a great thinker and theoretician, philosopher, statesman and state leader whom human history has not known so far.

"He is a simple and modest man.

"A lot of villages, factories, schools and army units in the DPRK bear imprints of his loving care and leadership exploits.

"He is carrying forward the cause of Kim Il Sung brilliantly to build a thriving socialist country on the soil of the DPRK without fail.

"He is firmly protecting the national sovereignty and the destiny of the nation from the imperialist aggressors who are trying every way to topple socialist Korea, the righteous and genuine people's country.

"Thanks to his unique Songun politics the DPRK, though it is not a big country, could be the strongest country in the world that stands face to face with the US, the only 'superpower'."

He concluded his speech with a shout of "Long live General Kim Jong Il!".

Suneet Chopra, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) and secretary general of the All India Indo-DPRK Friendship Association, and other speakers hailed the publication of the book, calling it a precious asset and a great book of humankind.

They noted that those who want to carve out their destiny and transform their country and the world must read the book and if they do they can understand how the DPRK has become a strong country.

They stated that if everyone wants to know the Juche idea and the Songun idea he or she should read the book, calling for studying the Juche idea and learning from Kim Jong Il.
