Commenting on the debut album, Partha Mojumder said, "I am not a singer but when met my old friend and musician colleague, Dulal Zoha, he inspired me to sing! With his unending inspirations, finally I have tried to sing in 'Somporko" [Relations], which is also my debut album as a singer. Never I even thought that one day I would sing, though on a number of occasions, my younger brother Bappa Majumder, Shyamlipi Shyama, my wife Sanchita, Azam Babu, S I Tutul, my band Face 2 Face, Fahmida Nabi, Agoon, Nancy and others, after listening to me being singing - gave huge encouragements to sing. They inspired me in composing the songs for my own album. Above all, my buddy Azam Babu, who is a well-known sound engineer in Bangladesh, not only kept on visibly pressing me in completing the composition of the songs for this album, but also gave his hugely precious technical supports and guidance to me. Of course, my past experience of being a music director was of great help in my best efforts in giving something new in 'Somporko'." Dulal Zoha is particularly excited about this album, who said, "Basically I am also a musician and started my music career being inspired by my only brother Atiquz Zoha. Later on was greatly inspired by Azam bhai [Azam Khan], as I was his band member. Today, I want to remember one of my best musician friends Nayon Haq Munshi who passed away long ago in Canada. He was a great musician. Additionally I want to give thanks to another best friend - Partha Mojumdar, who mostly inspired me in doing this album. We worked quite hard in completing this album." Eminent sound engineer in Bangladesh, Azam Babu has worked tirelessly in giving his precious touch of perfection in this album. It is believed that, music lovers in Bangladesh will enjoy most of the songs of SHOMPORKO. Crown Music, a music company established back in 2005 has also been known in the music circle in the country as the forerunner of patronizing prospective new talents in the music industry. It has so far introduced dozens of new singers in the country and has commitments in continuing patronizing those, who are rather ignored by the rest of the music companies in the country.
