Weekly Blitz made a research to findout the status of online editions of vernacular daily newspapers published in Bangladesh. According to information, largest daily Prothom Alo leads while very clear difference with all other daily newspapers in the country. Here is the result of the research: Prothom Alo, largest vernacular daily in Bangladesh stands at 2,987 according to Alexa Traffic Rank. On an average 0.0298 percent of the Global internet users uvisit the web edition of this newspaper. In Bangladesh, it ranks 10. 76.2 per cent of the readers of online edition of Prothom Alo are from Bangladesh, while rest are from South Korea [6.4%], Saudi Arabia [3.7%], Japan [3.1%], United States [2.7%] and Australia [1.4%]. Daily Ittefaq, a vercular newspaper stands at 6,295 according to Alexa Traffic Rank. On an average 0.015 percent of the Global internet users uvisit the web edition of this newspaper. In Bangladesh, it ranks 28. 55.7 per cent of the readers of online edition of Ittafaq are from Bangladesh, while rest are from South Korea [8.9%], Saudi Arabia [10.9%], Japan [3.4%], United States [5%] and Australia [1.0%].
