Ferrostaal underlines its separation from the MAN Group

Following the requisite entry into the commercial register and in line with last week's announcement, the name of "MAN Ferrostaal" has been changed with immediate effect to "Ferrostaal". In keeping with the change of name, the company no longer incorporates the letters MAN in its logo. The logo henceforth only contains the new company name.

The reasons for changing the name and logo are the acquisition of a majority stake by the International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC) of Abu Dhabi and Ferrostaal subsequently leaving the MAN Group.

To ensure prominent presentation of the new corporate design in the public domain, Ferrostaal last week announced that it would co-operate with Manchester City football club from the English Premier League by assuming the role of a sponsor.
