Abed Khan's Kaler Kantho published

Leading business conglomerate in Bangladesh, Bashundhara Group has financed the publication of a vernacular daily named Kaler Kantho [Voice of Age] under the leadership of celebrated journalist and editor Abed Khan.

Preparation of this daily was continuing for more than a year with a team of seasoned and dedicated journalists. Kaler Kantho has pledged its promise to the readers to remain as the most neutral and unbiased source of information.

It may be mentioned here that, for past few months, a vernacular and English language daily owned by one of the most controversial business houses in Bangladesh were busy in publishing defamatory news and articles against Kaler Kantho and its holding organization with the aim of suffocating the voice of this newly born vernacular daily.

Abed Khan is a famous journalist and columnist of Bangladesh. Prior to taking the responsibility of vernacular daily, Kaler Kantha, he was the editor of Daily Samakal, Daily Jugantor and Daily Bhorer Kagoj - the three famous newspapers in Bangladesh.
