Actress Shimla and director Masum Aziz Vibgyor Films, a cine-production company in Bangladesh has decided to make a film named 'Leelakhela', which will be directed by award winning director Masum Aziz. Leelakhela is based on a story of a childless couple and how they felt into the grips of Islamists. The story shows how Islamists and religious fanatics are gradually spreading wings in the societies in the Muslim nations, thus causing severe sufferings for the humanity. Leelakhela is based on a story written by award winning journalist Shoaib Choudhury. Commenting on this film, director Masum Aziz said, "it is a great challenge for my career to complete this movie and finally release it to Bangladeshi and international audience. After so many decades, cine-spectators will be able to watch a good movie, which contains powerful message against religious fanatics." He said, "Leelakhela is not just a movie, but it is the mirror of those people, who are continuously oppressed by militant and radical Islam." National award winning actress Shimla will play the main role in this film. Vibgyor Films has already signed with her. While talking to Weekly Blitz, actress Shimla said, "This is a real turning point in my entire career. The story and script of Leelakhela is extremely powerful and this film leaves a strong message against various social and religious odds. I am so excited to be in the team of this film, which is targeting international audience." Shimla said every actor dreams of doing challenging characters in films. Leelakhela is one of such very few films, where she hopes to give ever-best performance of her life. Vibgyor Films said they are planning to release this movie simultaneously in Bangladesh, United Kingdom, USA and UAE. They believe Leelakhela will possibly be one of the very few Bangladeshi films, which will snatch several international awards. Grand Muhutar of Leelakhela will take place on March 19, 2010 [Friday] at Vistec studio in Dhaka. Popular singers S I Tutul, Andrew Kishore, Monir Khan and Kunal will sing for this movie. Compositions of songs are already being done by eminent music directors of the country. Commenting on the songs of this film, eminent music director Milton Khandaker said, "Shoaib Choudhury is a very powerful lyrist in Bangladesh. He has created excellent songs and gave brilliant tunes, which possibly will be able to win the hearts of millions of music lovers in Bangladesh and abroad."
