Congressional delegation to Visit Dhaka march 28-30

A delegation of three U.S. Members of Congress as well as senior Congressional staff will pay a three day official visit to Bangladesh March 28-30. The delegation is led by Congressman David Price (D-NC), a member of the Congressional Bangladesh Caucus in the U.S. House of Representatives. The Members of Congress are all members of the House Democracy Partnership (HDP). HDP's mission is to promote responsive, effective government and strengthen democratic institutions by assisting legislatures in emerging democracies. During their visit, the Congressmen will meet with a range of government officials and members of parliament to learn more about democratic governance in Bangladesh.

They will also discuss a range of bilateral issues with political and business leaders, academics and civil society members.
