Award winning actress Moushumi in Leelakhela

Bangladesh's most popular award winning actress Moushumi has finally been signed to play the main role with another award winning actor Ferdous in the anti-Jihadist Bangla feature film Leelakhela.

Leelakhela, a film directed by Masum Aziz is produced by Vibgyor Films. Story of the film is written by Shoaib Choudhury.

Earlier eminent Bangladeshi singers Runa Laila, Andrew Kishore, S I Tutul, Monir Khan and Rinku gave voice to several songs of this film. Popular Bangladeshi music director Milton Khandaker has once again come back in the cine industry with this film. Lyrics and tune of the songs are also by Shoaib Choudhury.

Meanwhile songs of Leelakhela film have attained highest appreciation of the song lovers and music maestros of the country. Milton Khandaker, commenting on the songs said, "Shoaib Choudhury has the brilliant skill of writing songs with very deep thoughts and philosophy, while his tunes are always very much exceptional than others. I am sure, with the songs of Leelakhela, Bangladeshi film industry will once again get back its lost image of 'Golden Age', when film songs were considered to be tremendously melodious and with deep meaning."

Popular singers like Runa Laila, Andrew Kishore, S I Tutul and Monir Khan are very optimistic on the songs they already sang for the film. A number of local music companies are showing interest in buying the copyright of the songs of this film, while several companies distributing songs for ring tone are also hiking price for these songs.

Popular actor Ferdous sees high hope in tremendous response from Leelakhela especially after the inclusion of Moushumi as the main actress in the film. He said, the film is truly destined for local and international audience and it surely will open new window of prospect for Bangladeshi films in the international arena. Leelakhela will be simultaneous released in Bangladesh, United States, United Kingdom and UAE.

A leading Indian film production company is also showing interest in buying the story right and copy right of the songs of the film. It is expected that, Leelakhela film may also be made in India by this company.

With the inclusion of Moushumi in the film, weeks of speculations of Bangladeshi media has finally been sealed. Meanwhile, management of Vibgyor Films told Weekly Blitz that, they initially thought to include another Bangladeshi female actor Shimla in the main role of Leelakhela. Such thoughts were result of Shimla's debut film named Madame Fuli, for which she received national award. But, later, Bangladeshi media reported that, Shimla has completely lots box office value due to drug addiction, which has resulted in lack of seriousness in work as well as playing roles in filthy movies as well as video films, which goes beyond the dignity of any actress.

On the other hand, Moushumi has turned into icon of good films in Bangladesh as well as West Bengal in India. She has been performing in Bangla cinema since 1991. Her debut film is Keyamat Thekey Keyamat'. So far, Moushumi has acted in more than 200 Bangla films and received numerous national and international awards.
