Battle against Jihad and the battlers

During my recent visit to a number of countries in Europe, one particular thing made me feel very delighted. Everyone is so very much concerned about rise of Islamist militancy and Jihadists and is visibly showing their commitment in combating these evil forces. Undoubtedly it is a great sign. Everyone in the West in particular is interested in greater role of media in combating Islamism and Jihadism. This is also great! But, possibly the problem is, those people, who are patronizing such media and voices are either draining out their hard-earned money in wrong places [I know a few names in the West, who are cashing millions just by raising their voice against Jihad to a very hand-picked number of people] or some how failing in identifying the real effective forces in anti-Jihadist activities.

And, most importantly, few of these people are already suffering from credibility crisis. I read somewhere that, one of such anti-Jihadist figures in the West is accused of lying and even suppressing real name. And importantly, I did not read such information in any Jihadist website, but on credible sources, as well blogs run of eminent Jewish columnists and writers.

Many of us must be well acquainted with the name of Saudi Prince Al Waleed bin Talal, who invested millions of dollars in acquiring significant volume of share in Newscorp – the company founded by Rupert Murdock. If we believe that the Prince has simply put his money into this venture for mere financial benefit, than we shall be absolutely wrong. Prince Talal has invested in Newscorp for establishing a Wahhabi grip over this gigantic American media conglomerate.

I know Arab sheikhs are showing interest in buying shares in various news outlets in the world, starting from USA to Africa to Australia to Asia. In few years, we shall definitely witness a formidable influence of these Sheikhs in international media. Now the question is, if the Sheikhs will be also encouraging anti-Jihadist campaign. I am sure, they won't. Because in the Muslim world, there is a wrong perception that, anti-Jihad is actually anti-Islam. Well, there is some reason behind such misunderstandings. I can just give here one example. I read somewhere that an Arab-American anti-Jihadist activist is continuing campaign stating that "every Muslim is actually Jihadist". This activist is even encouraging hiring Muslims for murdering Muslims.

Giving instigation to murder can never be seen as 'social activity'. This particular individual is a criminal giving instigation to murder. There is no difference between this individual and another Jihadist. Both are killers and murderers. One is killing with its own hand, while other is hiring people or at least giving instigation to people in murdering. Very unfortunately, Western philanthropists are putting millions of dollars towards such fake activists, who are actually buying their own fortune by selling fake stories or fictions. And very importantly, such fakes are patronized by none but media outlets owned by Saudi Prince Al Waleed bin Talal. I do not find any difference between such so-called social activists and Hitler. Both are murderers with rotten mind.

And, what changes these so-called anti-Jihadist activists have so far accomplished other than making their own fortune? Nothing! In contrary, there are genuine anti-Jihadist voices in the West. I would like to mention here the name of Ayaan Hirsi Ali or Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasrin. Both were forced to flee their countries due to threats from Jihadists. They are genuine anti-Jihadists. I can also mention here the name of Dr. Daniel Pipes, who is continuously using his pen against Jihadism and Islamism.

And now I must mention here the name of Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury, the most courageous anti-Jihadist freedom fighter in today's world. The New York Times in its editorial said "Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury, a Muslim editor and commentator in Bangladesh, has a rare virtue -- he champions dialogue and decency in a culture hemmed in by extremism and corruption."

The Jewish State in an editorial said "Choudhury speaks eloquently about the fight against radical Islam and the moral imperative of supporting Israel. He is an unabashed Zionist.

"…He has always been frank about his Zionism. "Today, Israel is suffering, tomorrow the world will suffer. Israel is a land blessed by God. And God will protect his land.""

For obvious reason, I have personal admiration for Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury, Weekly Blitz newspaper and its very courageous editorial team, as they truly are confronting militant Islam and Jihad for past seven years. For this specific reason, I personally feel honored in associating with this team since 2005. Occasionally I write for this newspaper, without any financial compensation, out of my commitment of combating Islamism. They have the guts to fight Jihadists and militant Islam right at the "battle ground". In past seven plus years, the readership of Weekly Blitz has greatly increased. It has both print and online edition. But, bad news is, this newspaper is at the verge or closure – anytime – as it did not receive even a single advertisement from the local entrepreneurs for past seven years, just because of its editorial policy and firm stand in favor of Israel.

I read that an Islamist business tycoon showed interest in buying shares of this newspaper. But, Weekly Blitz family are unwilling to sell their souls to evils. Though I always pray for longer life of this newspaper, it is my personal assessment that Weekly Blitz will die in near future, due to acute financial constraint. None of the philanthropists in the world so far came forward to rescue this newspaper from collapse. Though it will be sad, but it is fact that, this only anti-Jihadist newspaper in the Muslim world may soon die. And, it is equally sad that there is visibly no sign from those large philanthropists in doing anything for Blitz.
