Mid-term polls in the Senate and Congressional seats in United States will take place in November. During this election, the most focused seat in the one, which was vacated by US President Barack Obama in Illinois. Prior to becoming the President of United States, Obama was the Senator from Illinois. Though there are signs that, ruling Democratic Party will have bad defeats in a number of seats in Senate and Congress during the election, especially because of President Obama's failed policies, as well as his actions, which indirectly goes in favor of Islamists and Jihadists, it is still a huge question as to who will finally win the Senate election in Illinois. In an exclusive Newsmax.TV interview, Fox News analyst Dick Morris says Republican nominee Rep. Mark Steven Kirk will defeat Alexi Giannoulias for President Obama's former U.S. Senate seat in Illinois. Giannoulias will suffer as a result of the FDIC's recently closing his family's bank after they knowingly made more than $32 million in questionable loans, Morris says. Meanwhile, sensing a possible defeat in the Illinois seat, President Barack Hussein Obama has quickly decided to make a trip on August 5, 2010 to make a last effort in salvaging the his party's sinking vessel in Illinois. Obama will try to help Senate candidate Alexi Guannoulias in raising fund. The announcement about the Obama fundraiser comes on the heels of second quarter fundraising reports that showed Giannouliass trailing badly on the financial front in the race. He raised $900,000 from April through June compared to Kirk's $2.3 million. Early in the campaign the White House sought to recruit other candidates to run in Illinois, but those efforts were unsuccessful and Giannoulias emerged as the consensus frontrunner. Top White House political strategist David Axelrod is scheduled to headline a fundraiser for Giannoulias later this month and David Plouffe, Obama's 2008 campaign manager, has also participated in the effort to help Giannoulias raise money.
