"Sree Sree Radhakanta Janardhan Jew Temple" located at 222 South Mousundi under Sutrapur Police Station in Dhaka has been forcefully occupied by some influential perpetrators backed by ruling party leaders, on 12th August, 2010. It is alleged that those perpetrators demolished a part of the Temple and grabbed the building and its adjoining areas. During such illegal actions, the perpetrators evicted 34 helpless Indigenous Minorities. Police administration did not arrest any of the culprits. Police even denied to register any complaint lodged by the Temple management committee. It is reported in various newspapers in Bangladesh that during past six months, more than one hundred Minority families including Indigenous Minorities have been unlawfully evicted from Sutrapur Area in Dhaka.
