History of this name chnage game

A good article, no doubt about that but it would be very helpful if you tell us the history of this name change game, e.g. which things get changed, what was the initial name, who started the name change etc. I think we expect everything from a particular political party comes to Government. and remain silent when the other party is in power. Anyway thanks for this info. and hope to hear from you.
