Societies are judged by the way they protect their vulnerable members.
Would it be wise to further harass him?
Let me ask you a question: Do you want a society which allows a 13 year-old girl to learn through experience that a middle-aged man with a lot of money can perpetrate upon her whatever sexual perversion he wishes, and walk away without conscience, or the full extent of justice?
I think you know the answer.

No, no one can endorse sexual assault or rape of any female. No question of allowing the rape of a 13-year old girl. My point was that the plaintiff has settled the matter outside the court with US$ 500,000 compensation. So, it means, this was what the plaintiff was satisfied with. She allowed the accused to avoid imprisonment by receiving the cash compensation.
