Persecution of women of islam: alive and well, a perversion of disgust

The persecution and subjugation of women is alive and well in Iran and most Islamic countries. Some much worse than others."Good women are obedient" is just disgusting. No wonder so many women in Islam commit suicide or run-a-away from their husbands. As I have often mentioned; where is the global feminist movement on the treatment of women in Islam??
