I appreciate the support that Mark Steven Kirk has given to Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury, and he obviously has many fine qualities and achievements and is champion defender of human rights, except in one area, he supports abortion. As a human rights activist I am sad to see that Mark cannot see that in unqualified supporting of abortion he fails to respect the human rights of the unborn child. I would hope that he could review this aspect of his views and search for other ways to support women who feel compelled to seek an abortion. The right to life is surely the most fundamental of human rights irrespective of the stage of human life.
