Jihad (Holy War) ?

Reader comment on: Islamist militancy and South Asia

Submitted by Sheikh from India (India), Oct 31, 2010 00:51

I think it is not proper to use the word 'jihad' for such wrong doers. Perhaps the meaning of jihad and 'crusade (holy war)' are not same. The meaning of jihad needs some more research. I think it is also not proper to borrow whatever anti-islam propagandists used to say. Of course, terrorism is a fit word for wrong doers against humanity that may be against any community or believer of any religion.
