Al Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) has released the latest issue of its Urdu-language magazine Nawa-i-Ghazwa-e-Hind (“The Voice of the Battle of India”) in which it describes the Texas synagogue hostage-taker Malik Faisal Akram as “martyr” and says that Jews run the American government. Writes Christine Douglass-Williams

There are Islamic texts that instruct hatred of Jews. There’s also the Palestinian cause to obliterate the Jewish state, which serves to perpetuate  ongoing antisemitism.

As reported by the Jewish Journal: In Texas, the target was Jewish and the motive was antisemitism. Now, an Al-Qaeda magazine has stated: “There is no greater enemy of islam and inhabitants of islam than the jews.” Where might Al-Qaeda have gotten this idea? See HERE.

the Qur’an depicts the Jews as inveterately evil and bent on destroying the well-being of the Muslims. The Jews in the Qur’an are called the strongest of all people in enmity toward the Muslims (5:82); they fabricate things and falsely ascribe them to Allah (2:79; 3:75, 3:181); they claim that Allah’s power is limited (5:64); they love to listen to lies (5:41); they disobey Allah and never observe his commands (5:13). They are disputing and quarreling (2:247); hiding the truth and misleading people (3:78); staging rebellion against the prophets and rejecting their guidance (2:55); being hypocritical (2:14, 2:44); giving preference to their own interests over the teachings of Muhammad (2:87); wishing evil for people and trying to mislead them (2:109); feeling pain when others are happy or fortunate (3:120); being arrogant about their being Allah’s beloved people (5:18); devouring people’s wealth by subterfuge (4:161); slandering the true religion and being cursed by Allah (4:46); killing the prophets (2:61); being merciless and heartless (2:74); never keeping their promises or fulfilling their words (2:100); being unrestrained in committing sins (5:79); being cowardly (59:13-14); being miserly (4:53); being transformed into apes and pigs for breaking the Sabbath (2:63-65; 5:59-60; 7:166); and more. They are under Allah’s curse (9:30), and Muslims should wage war against them and subjugate them under Islamic hegemony (9:29).

The Palestinian leadership also references Muslims who murder Jews as “martyrs,” pays them handsomely (as well as their families), and the more they kill, the more they are lionized.

“Al-Qaeda magazine editorial declares Texas synagogue terrorist a martyr, says no greater enemy than Jews,” MEMRI, January 26, 2022:

Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) has released the latest issue of its Urdu-language magazine Nawa-i-Ghazwa-e-Hind (“The Voice of the Battle of India”) in which it describes the Texas synagogue hostage-taker Malik Faisal Akram as “martyr” and says that Jews run the American government.

AQIS is a branch of Al-Qaeda for in South Asia. Nawa-i-Ghazwa-e-Hind is a jihadi magazine that has been published from Pakistan for more than a decade. Although its publishers were not known previously, it has always published articles and reports on the Afghan Taliban’s activities and other global jihadi issues. A few years ago, the monthly magazine’s editorial control was formally taken over by AQIS.

In Issue 1 Volume 15, the release of which corresponded to January 2022, the jihadi magazine’s coverpage observes that “Martyr Malik Faisal Akram” demanded the release of Aafia Siddiqui “by taking American Jews in detention” on January 15, 2022. Siddiqui is a Pakistani neuroscientist who is serving an 86-year sentence for attempted murder of U.S. military personnel and who is known for her affiliation with Al-Qaeda.

“Jewish Investors And The Jewish Lobby Play A Big Role In Running The System Of Government Of America, The Head Of The War Against Islam Today”

In a break from their standard practice, the magazine’s editors have written two editorials in the latest issue. The second editorial is titled: “Faisal, You Saved The Honor Of The Ummah.” The editorial’s opening sentences state: “This point is proven by every angle and viewpoint that there is no greater enemy of Islam and inhabitants of Islam than the Jews. Then this point is also proven by every angle and viewpoint that Jews play a key role in running the New World Order in the world. And this point is also proven without doubt and suspicion that Jewish investors and the Jewish lobby play a big role in running the system of government of America, the head of the war against Islam today. And America is indeed the biggest protector of the illegitimate Jewish state of Israel.”

The editorial says the synagogue in Colleyville, Texas, where Malik Faisal Akram took four Jews, including the rabbi, hostage is situated next to the prison where “Americans have jailed Aafia Siddiqui and given her an 86-year prison term.” The magazine notes that Akram announced during the siege that he “came especially (from Britain to New York and from New York to Colleyville) to this town by air where Aafia Siddiqui is imprisoned” and said that he took these Jews “hostage to free sister Aafia Siddiqui.”

According to the editorial, Malik Faisal Akram told the captive rabbi Charlie Cytron-Walker: “I (have put forth my demands before America) by taking you (Jews) hostage for the reason that America feels concerned only for the Jews, because the Jews control the entire world, the Jews also control the media, and the Jews also control the banks.”

Malik Faisal Akram also telephoned Rabbi Angela Buchdahl of New York-based Central Synagogue and asked her that “she use her position to get Aafia Siddiqui freed.” The editorial notes that after hours of fighting U.S. security officials, Malik Faisal Akram “drank the drink of martyrdom.” It adds: “In his short message, Malik Akram Faisal, may Allah have mercy on him, gave a clear message to the world of kufr [unbelief], especially the Jews and America, and also showed a right path to the self-respecting youths of Ummah, that force can be responded to only by force.”

“Malik Faial Akram The Martyr, Allah Will Be Your Host In The Jannat-e-Firdaus [The Highest Circle Of Paradise] That You Waged War Against The Inhabitants Of Kufr [Unbelief]”

The editorial observes that Malik Faisal Akram, by mentioning during the siege that his goal was not to harm anyone, also proved the statement of Osama bin Laden that “we do not harm anyone without reason.”

It reiterates Bin Laden’s positions: “America has been waging a war against Islam; America has also occupied the lands and resources of Muslims; and America has imprisoned hundreds of thousands of Muslims, including Aafia Siddiqui; we make only demand on America that it desist from warring against us, leave our lands, end the occupation of our resources, stop backing the Jews, especially Israel the occupier of Palestine, remove its troops from the Harmain and Sharifain [i.e., Mecca and Medina], and free our prisoners – then we will cease our war against America.”
