“Allahu Akbar! Islamic State claims responsibility for Sri Lanka attacks,” was how ISIS first announced it was claiming credit for the massacre of Christians.
A video released of the Islamic terrorists also features the familiar Jihad slogan.
A one-minute video released by Isis showed the same men pledging allegiance to the “caliphate” and its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, before shouting “Allahu akbar”.
As regular Jihad Watch readers know, “Allahu Akbar” doesn’t mean, “God is Great”, as the media mistranslates it, but is a declaration that Allah is superior to non-Islamic beliefs.
Here are some other Jihad Watch stories linking Allahu Akbar to violence against churches.
Ethiopia: Muslim mobs screaming “Allahu akbar” attack 10 church buildings
Germany: Muslim screaming “Allahu akbar” throws firecracker in church during Easter mass, 24 injured in panic
Egypt: Muslim mob screaming “Allahu akbar” attacks Christians, forces closure of church
Ethiopia, Germany, Uganda, Egypt, Russia, and now Sri Lanka.
The theme remains the same.
