Britain fails to ban notorious Hizb Ut Tahrir

For years, notorious Hizb Ut Tahrir that promotes radical Islam and Caliphate and rejects democracy has been continuing activities in the United Kingdom although this group has been banned in a large number of nations in the world, as well as the west. Hizb Ut Tahrir openly calls for Sharia hegemony and has been working in spreading religious hatred, Sharia and Caliphate madness amongst the Britons with the agenda of “establishing” caliphate in the country. Once this group succeeds in such dangerous agenda, it will eventually call for either forcing driving away non-Muslims from Britain or turn them into slaves.

Well-known counterterrorism expert Robert Spencer, commenting on Britain’s inability in outlawing Hizb Ut Tahrir said: Why couldn’t they ban Hizb ut-Tahrir, which openly calls for Sharia hegemony? Because to have done so would have been “Islamophobic.” Britain is slowly committing national suicide, and every step of the way, it refuses to defend its culture, laws, borders and more because to do so would be “Islamophobic”.

On June 19, 2021 British daily The Telegraph published a report titled ‘Supporter of Islamist extremist group calls for jihad to wipe out that Zionist entity [Israel]’ said: A supporter of an Islamist extremist group which David Cameron and Tony Blair each tried to ban is being investigated by police after calling for “Jihad” to “wipe out that Zionist entity”.

Police confirmed that a speech made at a Birmingham pro-Palestine rally final month had been recorded as a hate crime. The rally was organised by Hizb ut-Tahrir Britain, the UK wing of Hizb ut-Tahrir, a world Islamist get together which calls for the muse of an Islamic caliphate and has been banned in some Arab international locations.

The Telegraph report said, in a video posted on-line final month, a person recognized as Belal Mohammed, a supporter of Hizb ut-Tahrir recorded himself on the protest on May 16.

He mentioned: “This goes out to the Muslim armies, what are you waiting for? Jihad is responsibility on you. Wipe out that Zionist entity. How dare they occupy Masjid Al-Aqsa [the Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem]”.

He added: “The Muslim youth here, we the Muslims in the West, we are with you … We don’t fear the United Nations, British government. We don’t give a damn. We only fear Allah. Jihad fi sabilillah via the armies.”

A West Midlands Police spokesman advised The Telegraph: “We are conscious of a video posted on social media taken throughout a professional–Palestine occasion in Centenary Square in May. We have acquired a report elevating considerations over the character of the language utilized by one of the audio system, alleging it was anti-Semitic hate speech.

“A hate crime has been recorded and it’s currently with our investigators for an assessment. We will not tolerate hate crime, and we would always encourage people to report offences to us so we can take appropriate action”.

The Telegraph said, the name to “Muslim armies” chimes with a marketing campaign by Hizb ut-Tahrir within the UK urging Muslims to assist the “liberation” of Palestinians by “Muslim armies”.

It further said, in May, placards related to the group have been brandished by activists at a pro-Palestine protest in Luton, however black tape appeared to be masking the phrasing “Hizb ut-Tahrir Britain” which appeared on related placards on the earlier gathering in Birmingham.

The speech was reported to officers by the Community Security Trust, which displays anti-Semitism in Britain.

Dave Rich, the CST’s director of coverage, mentioned: “It is absolutely right that this violent, inflammatory speech is treated as a hate crime and we hope it leads to an arrest and prosecution, just as there should be similar police action with the many other examples of extremist incitement across the country that fuelled the recent surge in anti-Semitism”.

It may be mentioned here that on May 11, 2021, Hizb Ut Tahrir’s international leadership issued an announcement stating, “The monstrous Jews are spreading their brutal aggression on all parts of Palestine”.

By branding the Jews as “monstrous” this notorious pro-Caliphate jihadist outfit has clearly joined the voices of evils who have been extending support towards mega-terror outfit Hamas during the recent terrorist attacks on Israel, and British authority’s inaction in arresting the members of Hizb Ut Tahrir and outlawing this dangerous group rings the bell of gravest concern. By letting terrorist entities such a Hizb Ut Tahrir, Hamas and Hezbollah continue activities in the British soil, the UK government is possibly including its name in the list of terror-patron nations.
