Iran-backed terrorist group has now publicly proclaimed of having active cells inside the US capital Washington DC, which are capable of launching attacks. Recently, Iran-backed terrorist group released the statement through Kawtheryoon Electronic Team, a Telegram network claiming that Iranian “resistance cells are rooted even in America and its capital”, according to information provided by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI). It may be mentioned here that, MEMRI tracks activities of radical terrorist and jihadist groups.

According to information, terrorist group further claimed that terror factions associated with Iran are growing stronger and attracting more support than ever before. The group demanded the United States withdraw all of its troops from Iraq and the Middle East. The post of the Iran-backed terrorist group included a picture of caskets containing US soldiers.

Iran and its terrorist groups are becoming increasing aggressive in the recent weeks, which, according to analysts are part of Tehran’s strategy of putting pressure on Biden administration in immediately returning to nuclear deal and extract US$1 trillion as compensation. It is also learnt that influential figures inside Biden administration are working in favor of Iran, while Tehran has successfully infiltrated deep inside the US intelligence agencies and are capable of using them in serving purpose of Iran.

The latest threat from the Iran-backed terrorist group comes as the Biden administration is visibly in rush in re-entering nuclear deal with Iran. Policymakers in Tehran are seeing Biden administration’s over-enthusiasm as the best opportunity of extracting maximum benefit from the US. Meanwhile, Iran has accelerated its acts of sponsoring terrorism, which is being proved at the recent extended terrorist activities of the Tehran-backed Houthi terrorists in Yemen. Houthis are repeatedly firing missiles targeting civilian areas inside Saudi Arabia.

Biden administration’s pro-Iran bias became clear when it removed Houthis from the list of terrorist organizations. According to analysts, while the US State Department has called on Iran to cease its terror operations, Tehran shows no signs of backing down from its active operations in Yemen, Syria, Iran, Lebanon, and other Middle Eastern hotpots. Iran also continues supporting strikes on US personnel stationed in Iran, and is behind the recent rocket attack on an Iraqi air case that houses American troops.

Policymakers in Iran are mad at Donald Trump as he had authorized drone strike that killed Iranian notorious general Qassem Soleimani. Tehran also is equally mad at Israel for offensives on Al Qaeda members inside Iran.

For mullahs in Iran, Biden and most of the members of his administration, including Kamala Harris are seen as best possible opportunity, as they would initiate things that can effectively strengthen Iran’s terrorist agendas.
