British Prime Minister Boris Johnson seems to be over-enthusiastic in prolonging the ongoing lockdown stating it was necessary to check the spread of the transmission of coronavirus cases in the society. But, according to virologists, prolonged lockdown can significantly decrease the natural immune power in human bodies, which would ultimately increase the risk of further enhance in the positive Covid-19 cases. Moreover they say, while lockdown has already resulted in increases in the cases of coronavirus transmission, several Asian nations such as Bangladesh, which had lifted lockdown since June last year is already witnessing a fast decline in the number of positive Covid-19 cases.

Experts also say, the way European nations are indulged into spreading fear amongst the people, it certainly is pushing the people towards a kind of massive trauma, which again significantly decreases immune capacity in human bodies thus making those exposed to Covid-19 infection. The wrong practice of fear-mongering and prolonged lockdown can only result in rise in the number of cases of Covid-19 transmission.
