Let’s not know, what is healthy food or diet?

First of all let me say that diet is not given only to lose weight if you are obese or to know which food is suitable for that disease if you are suffering from any disease. Eating all the nutritious foods for a healthy lifestyle may be the purpose of a healthy diet. Simply put, a healthy diet is a combination of foods that will provide enough nutrients for your body to function properly. Diet is very important in getting the right amount of calories according to the needs of the person. The list of healthy foods includes fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, fat free or low fat rich dairy foods, etc. A well-balanced diet will keep your body and mind healthy as well as meet your body’s need for vitamins, minerals, proteins, carbohydrates, fats, energy and all nutritional needs.

Here are some tips to help you get started:

1) Controls excess body weight:

The list of healthy foods includes nutritious foods that do not increase body weight. Body weight does not increase easily as there is no processed, fatty sweet food, or junk food. Whole grains, vegetables, fruits, oats are healthy foods rich in low glycemic index which makes you feel full for a long time. The tendency to overeat decreases. These foods also greatly reduce the risk of heart disease.

2) Increases immunity

Healthy eating strengthens the body’s immune system and improves vascular function. Deficiency of nutrients in the body leads to deficiency of Vitamin-A, C, B, Zinc, Iron etc. Eating fruits and vegetables can get rid of this problem. Vegetables, fruits increase the amount of white blood cells in the body as well as increase the amount of good cholesterol HDL for the body, which in turn lowers blood pressure.

3) Strengthens the brain

The most important organ in our body is the brain. The functioning of the brain depends on our daily diet. Foods rich in omega 3 fatty acids help increase brain function. Healthy foods like salmon, walnuts, avocado, kiwi etc. can be included in your diet to protect against mental problems like depression, dementia, schizophrenia.

4) Adequate sleep

It is important to work to survive. Many people are so preoccupied with work that they neglect regular sleep. But sleep is essential for good health as well as for energy. There is no substitute for sleep. Through sleep, our daily fatigue is eliminated and the muscles of the body are re-employed. Adequate sleep makes your brain active and strong for the next day. Healthy nutritious food manages all the activities of your body properly which results in better sleep.

5) Improves heart health

According to the American Heart Association, about half of all adult deaths in the United States are due to cardiovascular disease. According to a special survey, 80% of people suffer from heart disease and stroke for the rest of their lives. Therefore, it is very important to eat healthy food in this situation. Should be given. It is also important to eat low-sodium, low-sugar foods, foods rich in potassium, iron, folic acid, and high-fiber foods.

6) Reduces the risk of diseases like cancer

Fruits, greens, nuts, seeds, carrots, pumpkins, berries, lemons, etc. contain various antioxidants including phytochemicals, beta carotene, lycopene, vitamin-A, C, which protect your body cells from all harmful effects, including free radicals. Did you know that free radicals can cause cancer in your body? A special 2014 study found that the diet of flowers and vegetables reduced the risk of gastrointestinal tract cancer.

In addition to foods rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, drink plenty of water for a healthy lifestyle. If possible, go in the sunlight. In a healthy-normal way of life, try to avoid certain things, such as smoking and drinking, just as you would focus on the things mentioned above.
