401 million riyals profits from electricity and water in the first quarter

The Board of Directors of the Qatar Electricity and Water Company, chaired by His Excellency Eng. Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi, Minister of State for Energy Affairs, approved the financial results for the first quarter of 2023.
Qatar Electricity and Water Company achieved revenues of 658 million riyals, compared to 564 million riyals during the same period in 2022 AD, and operating profits amounted to 339 million riyals, compared to 332 million riyals during the same period in 2022 AD. This strong performance achieved a net profit (attributable to the company’s shareholders) of 401 million riyals (earnings per share: 0.36 Qatari riyals) compared to 389 million riyals (earnings per share: 0.35 riyals) for the same period in 2022.
The meeting was attended by Eng. Mohammed Nasser Al-Hajri, Managing Director and CEO of the company.
