Qatar Chamber participated in the meetings of the Executive Office, the General Assembly, and the Board of Directors of the Arab-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which were held in Geneva. Common rooms.
During the meeting of the Executive Office, Mr. Rashid bin Nasser Al Kaabi, member of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Chamber, was elected as First Vice-President of the Arab-Swiss Chamber, and Mr. Samir Majoul, President of the Tunisian Federation of Industry and Trade, as Second Vice-President.
In its meeting, the Board of Directors unanimously approved this election, and the members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors expressed their confidence that the new Arab members of the Executive Office will have an important role in activating the Chamber and supporting it to increase its activities and develop its services.
The Board of Directors reviewed the Chamber’s work plan and activities for the year 2023, provided that the next meeting of the Board of Directors will be held during June 2023 to discuss the budget.
The meetings discussed many issues aimed at strengthening trade cooperation relations between Switzerland and the Arab world, where the importance of enhancing trade exchanges between Arab countries and Switzerland, and encouraging mutual investments, was emphasized.
