Hamad International Airport and Qatar Duty Free are organizing a series of celebrations and exclusive experiences throughout the airport terminal during the holy month of Ramadan to ensure that the atmosphere is conveyed to millions of passengers as part of its commitment to highlighting the ancient culture and traditions of the State of Qatar and the Middle East region.

Ramadan celebrations
Hamad International Airport and Qatar Duty Free offer Ramadan tents located near the Fendi and Ralph cafes that surround the garden «Orchard». Arabic coffee and dates are also served to travelers during the breakfast period in kiosks scattered throughout the airport.
The 14th day of the holy month of Ramadan marks a special occasion in the Gulf region, the Garangao, where children dressed in traditional clothes prepare, sing the Garangao song, and receive sweets and nuts. Passengers from the airport will experience this celebration near the “Light Bear” with a traditional children’s performance and gifts distributed to young passengers.
As a unique destination for travelers from all over the world to relax and unwind, the garden will welcome the Orchard during the holy month with Ramadan lanterns, a photo booth, and traditional seating areas for travelers to enjoy an authentic Ramadan atmosphere.
Shopping, food and drinks
Passengers traveling through Hamad International Airport will be introduced to a selection of special Ramadan offers from Qatar Duty Free, including Oud perfumes from world-famous beauty brands, luxurious Arabic sweets, chocolates and dates.
In addition, it will provide multiple hospitality options in Qatar Duty Free for dining and fast food suitable for all travelers. Harrods Tea Room at Hamad International Airport will also offer a special Ramadan menu with customized flavors.
Qatar Duty Free is back as the main sponsor of the Sultan Tent of the W Hotel in Qatar, where guests can enjoy rich Iftar and Suhoor menus and experience unforgettable Ramadan gatherings.
