Yesterday, Mr. Mohamed Faleh Al-Hajri, in charge of conducting the work of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, met with His Excellency Mr. Herve Yves Homme, Minister of Infrastructure and Transport of the Republic of Benin, in the presence of Mr. Carl Legiba, Director General of the National Agency for Civil Aviation in Benin.
During the meeting, they reviewed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the civil aviation sector, and discussed issues of common interest. This meeting reflects the extent of the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority’s commitment to developing the security and safety system in the civil aviation sector in the African continent, and to achieving all international standards to raise the efficiency of African countries and strengthen their civil aviation system.
The meeting also comes as an affirmation of the pioneering and vital role played by the State of Qatar in the field of supporting and developing the civil aviation industry worldwide and its continuous endeavor to enhance the future of this sector in terms of its duty and its effective international position in the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
