Indian newspaper The Dispatch serves the purpose of Pakistan

Despite the fact of Jammu and Kashmir gradually getting rid of decade-old terrorism and notorious activities of Pakistan-backed jihadism, The Dispatch, a newspaper published from the Valley has published a derogatory propaganda content quoting Mehbooba Mufti, former Jammu Kashmir Chief Minister stating that the “misadventure” from the government to create “fear and suppression” to “eliminate a sentiment” wonk work in Kashmir Valley.

The entire content published in The Dispatch is filled with lies and instigative words clearly with the nefarious agenda of encouraging anarchism and terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir. The newspaper has also made foul bid of giving wrong signal to the international community on Jammu and Kashmir issue.

In a tweet message, Mehbooba Mufti falsely claimed that human rights of the people in the Valley was suspended. She said, “GOI’s dubious claims that people of J&K now enjoy equal rights is a barefaced lie as truth is that even their basic human rights dead or alive are suspended with pervasive impunity”.

She added that their (Indian government’s) “misadventure of creating fear & suppression to eliminate a sentiment is counterproductive since feelings & emotions don’t dissipate or vanish into thin air. These feelings of betrayal, subjugation & anger are absorbed & passed on from one generation to the next”.

“Instead of reaching out, every successive policy is undertaken to humiliate & collectively punish J&K. These punitive actions compound this sense of betrayal and rage”, Mehbooba Mufti concluded.

Who is Mehbooba Mufti?

Mehbooba Mufti is the leader of Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who served as the last Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir as a State, from 4 April 2016 to 19 June 2018. After the revocation of the special status (autonomy) of the state in August 2019, Mufti was detained under the Jammu and Kashmir Public Safety Act.

Due to her dubious activities, in February 2020 she was further detained under the Jammu and Kashmir Public Safety Act.

In October 2020, Mebooba was accused of disrespecting Indian flag.

The Dispatch seems to be continuing instigative propaganda against Indian authorities centering Jammu and Kashmir issue. On September 4, 2021, this newspaper published an outrageous report titled ‘Restrictions on assembly of people continue in most Kashmir, mobile Internet snapped again’. The newspaper once again published a report quoting statement of Mehbooba Mufti, where she said, the “misadventure from the [Indian] government to create fear and suppression to eliminate a sentiment won’t work in Kashmir Valley”. She further said “even basic human rights of people have been suspended in Jammu and Kashmir”.

There is no doubt, The Dispatch has its own agenda of serving the evil purpose of Pakistani spy agency ISI. Indian authorities needs to immediately ban this publication.
