According to Bangladesh law, anyone willing to possess a drone needs license issued from the appropriate authorities. This has been done to stop terrorist group, especially radical Islamic militancy groups from using a drone for any subversive activities. But, since May 2018, dozens of drones are landing into the hands of various militancy groups including Jamaatul Mujahedin Bangladesh (JMB) as well as Al Qaeda in Indian Subcontinent (AQIS). This miniature item named Drone 720X was invented by two German engineers. Although the drones are originally made to grab both video and still images from the sky, it is being used by JMB, AQIS etc in taking footages of sensitive and restricted zones and important figures around the country. It is also learnt this device has been smuggled into India and landing into the hands of various separatist groups and terror outfit.
The investors, who were selfie maniacs found that the drones they had were very bulky, heavy and difficult to travel with.
So, they designed this ultra-compact, light drone, and all without sacrificing any of the main benefits of a top HD model.
It is firm, it’s easy to control and it can live-stream and record to users phone!
How does it work?
We were surprised by how easy it is to set up! First, you have to install an app (just scan the QR code in the manual). It’s all very easy.
Once you have done that, just plug in the battery, connect to the drone and start up the app. In less than 10 seconds you’re ready to fly your drone!
And then the worrying part comes: flying is so incredibly easy. The controls are just extremely easy and intuitive. Flying the drones feels natural. A colleague’s kids happened to be at the office, and they figured it all out in seconds—on their first drone flight ever. It’s just astonishing how easy and smooth the controls are!
Once the drone is in the air, the user can use the built-in camera (resolution 720P 30 FPS) fitted in it. Stunning pictures and videos can be recorded from the sky. Also the drone takes videos from otherwise impossible angles!
From abroad mainly expats are bringing in these drones, which costs less than US dollar one hundred. Due to its design, anyone can dodge the customs claiming these to be toys or mobile phones.
This drone can be charged from a car or bike.
Drone 720X can also carry lethal nerve agents such as Novichok. It can conveniently land into the body of the target thus making the killing mission extremely easy. According to various sources, during past four months, over seven hundreds Drone 720X has entered Bangladesh and most of it had already been smuggled out to India.
