Today, the Qatar Central Bank issued treasury bills and Islamic sukuk for terms of one week, one month, three, six and nine months, at a value of 5 billion Qatari riyals, indicating that the total value of bids submitted amounted to 9.7 billion Qatari riyals.
Qatar Central Bank stated, in a tweet on its official page on the social networking site “Twitter”, that the issuance of treasury bills was distributed by one billion Qatari riyals for a week at an interest rate of 5.2550%, one billion riyals for one month at an interest rate of 5.3125%, and one billion Qatari riyals for a period of three months at an interest rate of 5.3125%. Interest rate of 5.3950%, and one billion Qatari riyals for six months at an interest rate of 5.4525%, and one billion Qatari riyals for nine months at an interest rate of 5.5000%.
