Registration in the initiative to encourage production and subsidize sheep meat prices

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, in coordination with the Ministry of Municipality, announced the start of registration for the national initiative to encourage local production and subsidize sheep meat prices for the blessed Eid Al-Adha 1444, as of June 1 to June 13, 2023.
This step comes within the framework of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry’s keenness to encourage and support livestock breeders and farm owners in order to increase local production of sheep, and to protect the commercial and economic environment in the country, in anticipation of a change in the circumstances of supply meeting with demand and creating a balance between them in a way that contributes to the stability of prices in the markets and guarantees the right Citizens have access to red meat at reasonable prices.
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry stated that those who wish to be breeders and owners of farms who have local sheep must apply for registration with the Livestock Department at the Ministry of Municipality – Al Mansour Tower – Floor 11, and the attendance is in person or whoever acts on his behalf with an official power of attorney in accordance with the terms and conditions in force in this regard.
