The dollar is falling ahead of the release of US inflation data

The US dollar fell ahead of the much-watched inflation figure later in the day, which will provide more clues on the path of the Federal Reserve’s interest rate policy.
The pound sterling rose 0.04% to $1.2432, while the euro increased in the latest transaction by 0.1%, recording $1.0924. The Australian dollar rose 0.07% to $0.6658, while the New Zealand dollar increased 0.05% to $0.6195.
The dollar index, which measures the performance of the greenback against a basket of currencies, fell 0.05% to 102.07.
