The Qatar Stock Exchange index begins today’s trading in the green zone

The Qatar Stock Exchange index started the day’s trading in the green zone, to gain 23.38 points, with a growth rate of 0.23%, to rise to the level of 10235 points, compared to last Thursday’s closing, supported by 6 sectors.
Figures issued by the Qatar Stock Exchange attributed the positive performance of the general index to the increase in the insurance sector by 2.75%, the communications sector by 1.95%, the real estate sector by 0.86%, the banking and financial services sector by 0.18%, the transport sector by 0.08%, and the industrial sector by 0.01%. On the other hand, the consumer goods and services sector declined by 0.06%.
At 10:00 am, the Qatar Stock Exchange recorded transactions worth 91.945 million riyals, distributed to 36.978 million shares, with the implementation of 2398 transactions.
