The Qatar Stock Exchange index fell at the beginning of today’s trading by 0.31%, to lose its balance by 30.95 points, and thus descend to the level of 9917 points, compared to the end of yesterday’s trading, under pressure from various sectors.
The Qatar Stock Exchange figures attributed the recorded decline to the negative performance of the industrial sector by 0.51 percent, the real estate sector by 0.39 percent, the consumer goods and services sector by 0.38 percent, the insurance sector by 0.23 percent, the banking and financial services sector by 0.22 percent, the transportation sector by 0.19 percent, and the communications sector by 0. 06%.
At 10:00, the Qatari Stock Exchange recorded transactions worth 25.800 million riyals, distributed to 13.197 million shares, with 1167 transactions executed.
