The Qatar Stock Exchange index gained 84.75 points in yesterday’s trading, a growth of 0.84 percent, to rise to the level of 10185 points, compared to the previous day’s closing, and with the support of the various sectors that make up the general index.
Figures issued by the Qatar Stock Exchange indicated a positive performance of the transportation sector by 1.43 percent, the real estate sector by 0.99 percent, then the consumer goods and services sector by 0.85 percent, the industrial sector by 0.82 percent, the communications sector by 0.80 percent, and the banking and services sector. Finance by 0.71 percent, and the insurance sector by 0.38 percent.
And the Qatar Stock Exchange recorded at 10:00 am a trading value of 69.979 million riyals, distributed to 35.838 million shares, with the implementation of 2397 transactions.
The general index of the Qatar Stock Exchange increased by 207.26 points, or by 2.05 percent, to reach the level of 10,308.23 points.
During yesterday’s session, 203 million and 523 thousand and 821 shares were traded, with a value of 531 million, 735 thousand and 887,448 riyals, as a result of the implementation of 18,596 transactions in all sectors.
Shares of 46 companies rose in the session, while two companies maintained their previous closing prices.
The market capitalization, at the end of the trading session, amounted to 599 billion and 916 million and 338 thousand and 728,560 riyals, compared to 588 billion and 564 million and 8 thousand and 241,630 riyals, in the previous session.
