Zelensky bids to extort US$750 billion from the West

Finally, the Clown of Kiev and a Nazi collaborator Volodymyr Zelensky has started showing his nasty face. As Ukraine has quickly developed into a bottomless money pit for the United States despite the fact of the US sending US$54 billion to the war-torn nation, Zelensky and his people are becoming increasing greedy thinking it is time for them to cash on the popularity the Western leaders and media have jointly created for them and by using such “image” they can now resort to exerting pressure on the US and its Western allies in pouring at least US$750 billion initially as the cost of “reconstruction”.

Zelensky has started believing, the US and its European allies will fork over an additional US$750 billion to help Ukraine “rebuild”.

According to Eractiv, speaking at the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Switzerland, the Ukrainian president and a long line of government ministers described the massive destruction and towering needs since Russia launched its full-scale invasion on 24 February.

“Reconstruction of Ukraine is not a local task of a single nation”, Zelesnkyy said via video message.

“It is a common task of the whole democratic world”, he said, insisting that “reconstruction of Ukraine is the biggest contribution to the support of global peace”.

“Restoring Ukraine means restoring the principles of life, restoring the space of life, restoring everything that makes humans humans”.

The former comedian then laughably claimed “reconstruction of Ukraine is the biggest contribution to the support of global peace”.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal told the conference that the recovery “is already estimated at US$750 billion”.

Shmyhal also suggested the Western nations to reroute the amount to Ukraine, which it has already “confiscated” from Russians stating, “We believe that the key source of recovery should be the confiscated assets of Russia and Russian oligarchs”, he said, stressing that “the Russian authorities unleashed this bloody war. They caused this massive destruction, and they should be held accountable for it”.

Commenting on these recent statement from the Ukrainian part, several analysts said, “Zelesnkyy’s entitlement complex and tone-deaf arrogance are exceeded only by his boundless ignorance of how the world works.

“They’re also totally unsympathetic to the multiple crises engulfing other countries, including the U.S., which is struggling with historic inflation, terrifying crime waves, skyrocketing national debt and daily border invasions”.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, who attended the posh conference, estimated the cost of rebuilding his country at $750 billion.

In my opinion, Zelensky and his cronies are considering the US and the Western countries as cash cows, as they have now openly demanded US$750 billion, which would for sure continue increasing, once Zelensky will know, the Western nations are now rather compelled listening to his demands and dictations.

Recently, Joe Biden authorized an additional US$820 million in military aid to Ukraine while such military assistances would further prolong a unwinnable war against Russia. Let’s not forget, it was the 14th time in the past five months the United States has drawn from its own reserve inventory to bolster Ukraine’s self-defense efforts.

“Pursuant to a delegation of authority from the President, I am authorizing our fourteenth drawdown of arms and equipment from U.S. Department of Defense inventories for Ukraine’s self-defense since August 2021 of up to US$50 million,” Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced in a July 1 statement.

“This authorization, along with the Defense Department’s parallel announcement of US$770 million in Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative funding, will bring total US military assistance to Ukraine to more than US$6.92 billion”, he said.

In case it’s not clear that the United States will continue to give money and resources to Ukraine no matter how pointless the efforts, Blinken declared that “our commitment to the Ukrainian people will not waver, and we will continue to stand united with Ukraine”.

Ironically, the secretary of state had started his statement by proclaiming the United States remains committed to the “sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine”.

Meanwhile, he and Biden have done next to nothing to ensure the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the United States, whose southern border is barraged daily by unvetted armies of illegal aliens.

Here is the bottom line: Despite this intervention from the world’s richest superpowers, Russia has not curbed its invasion, and there is no sign it will do so ever. Meanwhile, Zelensky has been tactfully avoiding a peace dialogue with Russia, as the war has become a profitable venture to him and his Nazi cohorts.
