Amazon Prime Video unveils September 2021 schedule

Looking to get ready for those breezy Autumn months with a new movie or show? Look no further than Amazon Prime Video. This month, the streamer is releasing a stellar lineup to welcome in cooler days, including the final season of hit legal drama Goliath, an adaptation of the classic Cinderella story, plus another musical about a young drag queen.

Prime Video is kicking off the month with Cinderella, which is set to release on the platform on Sept. 3. The musical marks pop-star Camila Cabello’s first foray into on-screen acting, showing off her chops as the business-minded Ella, who happens to fall in love with a prince. Billy Porter, Idina Menzel, and James Corden also star in this new adaptation.

This coming month, another musical is headed to Prime Video. Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, a film adaptation of the stage musical of the same name. The coming-of-age biographical musical follows Jamie New (Max Harwood), a 16-year-old who doesn’t quite fit in — and decides to become a drag queen.

To round out September, Amazon is releasing the final season of its hit legal drama Goliath. Billy McBride will return for one final batch of episodes all set to release on Sept. 24, rounding out the drama after four epic seasons. Billy Bob Thornton, Nina Arianda, and Tanya Raymonde are set to return for the grand finale.

Read on to see what else is coming to Prime Video this September.
