Crown Entertainment making 3 films on Bangabandhu

The fastest-growing entertainment company in Bangladesh is preparing for making three full-length feature films on Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Last week, Crown Entertainment has already completed the shooting of a special length film on Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The special length movie ‘Jonok O Shontan’ (Father and the Child) is based on the story of a female war hero, who had a firm desire of seeing the father of the nation. Popular Bangladeshi actor Rani Ahad has played the lead role in this film. Immediately after shooting of it, Crown Entertainment has announced of producing at least three full-length feature films on Bangabandhu.

Meanwhile, popular writer Ferari Farhad has signed an agreement with Crown Entertainment letting the company make a film based on the story, screenplay, and dialogue of a full-length feature film named ‘Sadakalo Chhobi’ (The Portrait of Bangabandhu).

Talking to this correspondent, Ferari Farhad said, “As a writer, I always want to give my stories to the best deserving cine-makers. Crown Entertainment undoubtedly is a strong company, which houses the best technicians and makers in Bangladesh. Moreover, this company’s team of lyricists and composers are simply superb. I am confident, ‘Sadakalo Chhobi’ will be a very good movie.

About the casting of the upcoming movie, Tajul Islam, Executive Director of Crown Entertainment said, “We are now waiting for the final copy of script and dialogues from Mr. Ferari Farhad. On getting that, we shall sit for finalizing the casting although we are already thinking of a few names.
