These special drama serials named ‘Mesh Rashi’ and ‘Chora Talukder’ are directed by Adi Basi Mizan and produced by Bangladesh’s leading production company and content provider Crown Entertainment. These two serials will be aired during the Eid Ul Azha on NTV and Bangla Vision respectively.

Eminent actors Zahid Hassan, Nadia Ahmed, Shaju Khadem, Munira Mithu and others are also playing roles in these drama serials.

As usual, Adi Basi Mizan this time also has award-winning cinematographer Anwar Hossain Bulu as the director of photography of Mesh Rashi and Chora Talukder.

The title song of Mesh Rashi is written by Shoaib Choudhury. Rakib Ahmed composed the music of the title song while Rana Akond arranged its music.

Talking to this correspondent, Urmila Srabanti Kar said, “Adi Basi Mizan is a brilliant and prolific storyteller. He addresses various social issues with a touch of humor which helps the audience connect with the story. Adi Basi mostly teams up with acclaimed and skilled actors.”

Commenting on Crown Entertainment, she said: “Although Crown Entertainment is new in this arena, I find their visions and planning wide and grand. I strongly believe this company will be able to reach out to a global audience, and take Bangladeshi dramas and films to international platforms, which is very much required.”

It may be mentioned here that, Bangladeshi dramas are not only popular among the 170 million people of Bangladesh; they have a big audience in West Bengal, too. Most viewers in West Bengal believe that Bangladeshi actors and actresses are able to portray the stories in a very realistic and accurate way.
